One of the most exciting and action packed CrossFit Competition venue.

The comp will consist of 3 WODs, with the overall highest individual after the 3 WODs taking out the title.

All individuals will compete in the their respective chosen divisions. Individuals will then be scored accordingly.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Our normal conditions of entry apply, which can be found on our website.  In addition to this we advise that our CrossFit Competition days are definitely not child friendly.  Any children under 16 years must be stick like glue to a responsible adult.  No children under 16 years are allowed upstairs under any circumstances.

Anthony, Tracey, Michael and Nicole have an unparalleled passion for the community, services and facilities that are provided to you here at Breaking Point Fitness & CrossFit S.P.E.E.D.  They are keen on building further on the already amazing business that Darren has created over the last 8 years of operation.  Michael will take over as manager/trainer supported by his fitness team. 

As you know – Michael is already a senior Trainer and Coach with Anthony, Tracey and Nicole being long-term members.

The team are here to help support, motivate and encourage YOUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE choices and look forward to expanding and developing the services and facilities further, building a renowned, industry leading CrossFit and Fitness Centre.

The team includes;

“This is EXCITING.  We have an unbelievable opportunity to further develop an amazing business and give back to dedicated members and staff, a great fitness facility.  This has been a passion of mine for a number of years and I see the opportunity now.  I have watched not only the business but members develop, progress and overcome amazing challenges.  Taking this to the next level will be our focus which we can all achieve together, not only as a gym but a community.  We have a large number of new and exciting ideas that are planned to be implemented over the coming months to the benefit of our members.  Enjoy your training” - Michael Earl

More Caveman, More CrossFit

We are pleased to announce the following timetable changes that have taken affect this week.  Bringing a total of 22 CrossFit classes, with a total of 38 group classes every week! and over 70 hours of Open Gym time.

 

New Caveman Training session

A new Wednesday evening Caveman Training session will be held at 7.15pm

 

New Saturday morning CrossFit Class and earlier Gym opening

We will now be opening from 7am on Saturday mornings and hence closing at 11am instead of 12 noon.  We will also add a new CrossFit class to the 7am time slot.

 

Boot Camps - removal of two evening sessions and NEW LOCATION

We will be removing Monday evening and Thursday evening Boot Camps, ALL remaining Boot Camps will now be held at the park here on Flinders Parade opposite the Velocity Trampoline Centre.  Boot Campers will now meet here at the Centre, check in with membership keytag and then your trainer will take you from here.

Note: We recommend registering at least 1 week prior to the commencement of the challenge.  As booklet's, recipes and booking of the body scan all happen in the week leading up to the challenge.  This also allows mental preparation, goal setting, as well as any pantry clean outs and food shopping so that all challengers are ready and rearing to go on the 4th of October.

CrossFit is an evidence-based fitness program. Fitness is the ability to do real work.

CrossFit is many things. Primarily, it’s a fitness regimen developed by Coach Greg Glassman over several decades. He was the first person in history to define fitness in a meaningful, measurable way (increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains). CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective.
